sick of it....

Tired and worn out with DPs pathetic Disney dad routine, we've had DSS for 10 days straight now, his mother doesn't want him back until late this evening, leaving DP just sick and tired of it all, and who is getting the brunt of his bad form? Who else but ME, I'm so tired of it, every goddam weekend that DSS is here it ends up like this, DP is tired / worn out / Not able for it all, and instead of talking to me, it's all snuggles with DSS, blanking me, indulging every whim of DSS, more blanking me..... WHY do they do this....?! I know he's dying for home time as much as I am, but, why am I getting ignored now?? I've said and done nothing at all wrong, that I'm positive of, it's soooo annoying....

It's like he's somehow blaming you for his son going back to mums or is it that he wants you to be a "mum" to his son, so he can put his feet up a bit?

Same in our house it's over compensation for them not feeling how they think they should about the kids I think..

My OH gets really annoyed about how dsd acts, dresses and behaves but feels powerless to do anything with the limited contact and fairly useless role models she has at home. She comes and doesn't want to be here and it's a chore for him. Rather than admit that he doesn't often enjoy it all that much he bitches at me who spends alot of the time trying to mediate with a stroppy pre-teen and 35 year old such fun....!
