Just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone for all the ideas! Looms was a big success it turned out it's exes birthday this weekend so we made cakes and a box to put them in and went shopping for cards and some flowers.

There was a major drama with MIL trying to interfere offering to buy her clothes then asking her to choose if she wanted to spend time with her dad or clothes shopping - of course went for clothes but only for two hours much to OHs fury..

Anyway had a good chat about acess/ baby showed her the baby room thought would try being direct instead of skirting round the issue. She was more receptive than usual said we will go and choose coming home outfit from hospital on our own like a girly thing - seemed receptive.

She has agreed that she would rather come every other week to be confirmed by Friday so all know what's happening to try and stop tensions about changing her mind at last minute etc..

Turns out exes oh has told her off and she doesn't want to go there at weekends anymore hence the u- turn about wanting to come here the last few weekends she's been at grandmas who can't do it anymore..

All in all quite a success ex even text to say thank u- world first maybe harmony is on it's way...?!! Or maybes that's a bit ambitious but I'm relived we are all talking again and she's actually giving opinions on coming here so maybe we will get somewhere...! Spent majority of time with me not dad but I think that's how it will be at the moment they don't seem to have any common ground fingers crossed it's a teenage thing..!

Aww that's brilliant. Glad you found stuff to do. It's great when there's a craze like looms. I was making them last night at a BBQ as I knew how to do a fancy one haha.

And it's really great your making progress- high 5 to you.

Xx

Thank u! Sure I will be back bitching shortly but it's nice to have something more positive for once..

I'm exhausted this morning I'm useless at looms but watching her dad try to do it was about the most funny thing ever. Just hoping she might try being nice to him now he didn't even get a kiss good bye so he's still upset but on a selfish note I'm glad ex has actually said thank u it's never happened before once lol

Mind she doesn't start playing you off against her mum. My DSD went through a phase of wanting to stay with the parent who let her get away with more and as soon as she was told off or challenged she would up sticks and run to the other one, who by then was so grateful to see her back they let her get away with murder and so it went on!
Massive breakthrough with the baby stuff and the text from the ex - that's great!!!
