OK according to DSD's mother we should now pay 25% of our entire household income directly in DSD's personal bank account.
DSD's mum has thoughtfully set the account up for her for this purpose.

We have to do this so "she would know you are doing the best for her."

DSD is 11.

What the actual fuck???

That is just the most laughable thing I have read. The sad thing is (although hoping he has more sense) is that the drip-drip-drip that Dad has of "if you really cared you do it" is really damaging.

Two questions. Firstly, what would she image 25% of your total family income adds up to? Secondly, has she explained what DSD would be doing with this very generous sum of money? Or would she be spending this money on DSD's behalf?

How on Earth did she come to that conclusion??? On top of CM? I'm really hoping her thinking isn't that there's 4 of you inc. DSD therefore 25% belongs to DSD??? (I can so see my DSD's Mum coming up with that).

It's even more flawed than my dsds mum's logic that DH should have paid half her rent because dSd was half of the two of them living there ??

what was your DHs answer?

My DSD's mum couldn't understand why maintenance was going to stop being paid to her and was going direct to DSD went she went away to uni.

We always used to get phone calls about how we should be paying for her holiday as she was doing us a favour by taking DSD away!

Bingo too. She failed to alienate DSD by painting him as violent monster. So now it's Daddy doesn't car about you unless he gives you lots of money and things.

So how many of her side of the family is there? I take it if only the 2 she will be putting 50% of her income - that off course includes the cm - into this account too.. Since she must care a whole lot more than dad perhaps she will use 75% ? Did you ask?
