But you can't help worrying, can you?

DSS has recently moved, with his mum, back into their own house. Mum has MH issues, including hoarding, and as a result they have not been able to live in 'their' house for a year, instead all piling in to Granny's 2 bedroom. At least when they were at Granny's, though, she made sure DSS was reasonably clean - he is already starting to look dirty, hair greasy etc. He's here with us 3 weekends so we make sure he is clean here, it's just very nerve-wracking worrying about what he's having to cope with.

How old is he balia?

He's 11, just started secondary school in September. He asked tonight if he could wash his hair on Sunday before he goes back to his mum's so he would be 'clean for school'. Heartbreaking.
