Feeling low, my ds 1st birthday tomorrow, my dh and I have had a shit day bickering about the usual shit and it's side tracked me in getting the last bits for ds. I've been so looking forward to it as well . Dsc are now here any they have all clubbed together (no fault of their own) and I feel alone in my own home Sad

Are you able to sneak off and have a soak in the bath? Take yourself off for a bit to tend to yourself. Once you've had a little breather you may feel slightly better.

Happy birthday to your DS for tomorrow. Try not to worry too much about getting everything ready though. I was exactly the same with my DC1 first birthday - she was more interested in trying to eat the envelopes and wrapping paper. I might as well have given her empty cardboard boxes instead of presents - she would have been just as happy because she didn't understand the significance of the day. Getting everything together was all for my own benefit.

Have a glass of Wine.

Nowhere to go as my son goes into our room when the kids are here. They are in his room. I supposes I have the kitchen.

Bloody hell mate sounds crap Blush
Second taking some time for yourself when your DS is in your room asleep, mind you, if my dsc's were anything to go by, you'll be in the bath and they'll come knocking to use the loo, asking for toothpaste, or yelling right outside the door and poof goes your me time, hehe.

I got to the point of saying 'just take dss to a bloody hotel ffs'
Never happened, though i wish it had so we wouldn't be in the situation we're in now.

Though I never got turfed out of my own living room, I hated it with the electronic gadget clicking/sounds/music/ ect and though supplied with headphones they wouldn't use them. Last straw being when I was using my pad and had it taken out of my hands without a word by a 12 year old who responded to my Shock by saying 'I'm bored so I need something to do'
It's bloody ridiculous.

Have another Wine on me Smile

Tinker I was too gobsmacked tbh
You should have seen the search history on it though, I was disgusted. Thank The Lord I'll probably never have to see dss again really, he turned vile in later years and worse since moving back to his dm.
Op how are you today Smile
