Does anyone know if it is possible for DP to pay the CSA his DC's maintenance payment in cash at a high street bank?

Looks like the answer is no unless he's paying it direct to his ex.

No, just ring the CSA and make the payment with a debit card every month. They will try to pressure you into a standing order, but as long as you pay in full and on time there's nowt they can do.

This is how I paid mine for five years, it was always in full andon time and every three or four months they would ring me and threaten me with all the standard rubbish, take me to court, suspend license etc, I just stuck with what I was doing and they never did anything.

needa - Yes, he's paying via the CSA, but he wants to pay them in cash if it's possible - a bit like paying your utility bill or credit card in cash over the counter?

At the moment DP is sending them a cheque every month (not sure how that came about but hey-ho) - it would work better for us if he could pay in cash instead!

ninja - the problem with the debit card option is that the balance has to be in the account to start with!

I take cash drawings every month from my business - it seems pointless (and expensive) to pay these into a bank account and incur charges if we can pay some of our monthly bills in cash!

It seems academic how you get paid if the CSA don't accept cash.

Speak to them, I'm sure they can advise.

Will do - they're not open today, but he'll call tomorrow - I thought someone here might know, that's all!
