Quite thought provoking so far - what say you, step parents?

Reminded me of my own not so D SM only less evil...

I on the other hand am lovely and have taped it to show the DSSs what a real bitch is next time they start with the kvetching. :-)

Joking aside, it was a bit of a caricature. Yawn. Same old...

Did you think she was poisoning them in the end then?

Having lived with a teen SS with issues (some sexual, some violent) I could totally sympathise with her need to get him out of the house - and the younger SS seemed to think she was OK.

I did think she should have laid off the discipline a bit - but also her and the DH needed to talk about things more so that he supported her when she said things like 'you need to do the dishes before you go out'.

The main issue seemed to be the chap moving her in with them so quickly without really discussing it with the sons. It also seemed a bit unbelievable that she was so terrible at empathising and communicating considering her job!

I thought from the off she was poisoning them, dh disagreed.

I found her cold, unsympathetic, and tactless as a step mum and thought the dad should have manned up a bit too, though dh thought he was stuck in the middle which he can empathise with.
