Oh, lawks, its going to be another one of those months weekends. DSS has been to stay with his mum, again she worked almost every day so he got no real time with her.
DSS & I had a long chat the day before he went, about how he says to mum everything is 'fine' and then takes all his grump about how contact is out on us. DSS is still too young and scared to actually speak up to mum but understanding this doesn't make it any nicer to be the ones having to work around/respond to the crossness.
I know some of the crossness comes from the situation itself (meaning having to go between houses fullstop) but I feel angry that when he goes to stay it is so rubbish. I don't see why she can't either take a bit of time off or else just see him for bits of time she is able to give him some attention.
