dsd 6, got a secret dairy today and we went out. she was writing in it for a lot of the day and she chose this evening to share some of it with her dad you have to shine a uv light on it to see it, he showed me after she had gone to bed. it said best day ever, i love my step mum.
i know its silly and prob the christmas sugar high but that is lovely and made everything worth it.

aw that's so sweet. You must feel very happy. In some ways its more important to us to have our step children tell us they love us than or own kids.

So lovely!! I must share too.. I had a first this Xmas... After being with dp for 11 years. Married for 5.5 years I got a Xmas present from step kids!! A proper thoughtful one.. of their own backs :-))
