Kara Did you go to anti natal classes? how useful did you find them? I want to do them, sorry I will be doing them! DP seems to think that because he did them with exW 6 years ago he's a f'ing expert and they are pointless!!

Had a chat with DP and he suggested I ask my mum to be my back up birth partner so its decided that i'll ask my mum as I cant trust that DP will be there DP might be working away.

When I was pg with DS, DH and I went to NCT antenatal classes, and I thought they were well worth the money.
There were 8 couples altogether, still in contact with 5 of them (one moved to NI, the other never bothered meeting up with us).
It was very good as it was very interactive, we did lots of role play and different activities to find out what we knew about pregnancy and birth, teacher also gave us a good balanced view of different types of pain relief, and also talked about CS (one of the mums was having an elcs due to low lying placenta). She also talked about the first few weeks after the birth, about baby blues and PND. We had a separate class with the local BFC about breastfeeding as well.

This time around I went along to an information evening at the hospital, but it was more like a lecture (though the MWs giving the talks did it well and gave us the opportunity to ask questions) and then we had a tour of the MLU and the birth pool room. It was okay but more 'generic' and the information evening was only geared to mums who were giving birth in the MLU and not the high dependency unit, so nothing on epidurals/assisted deliveries/CS. I imagine they do a separate evening for those booked into the HDU.

Thanks Kara Thats the main reason I want to go, I havent got any friends around here as they all moved away. If I go and potentially meet some mummies to be then I may have a social life after baby is born rather than just me and baby at home all day on my own.

Not sure what will happen about the tour as im not MLU... we'll see

How are you getting on with your buyers?
Had 2 that haven't paid, have opened "Non responsive buyer" dispute in the res centre, one of those has paid up now, the other still no word!

Not had a response from him since I gave himt he facts No doubt there will be negative feedback left by him.

Hope the other one soon pays up for you... I had to do that to one once, after 7 days she still hadnt sent payment so I canceled the item then, relisted adn sold it, then she started sending me echeques through paypal.. got really shitty with her in the end.

Only thing is, I can't seem to close the case for the one that has closed?
Not sure how to go about this.

Still annoyed as the buyer hasn't even arsed to send an email or anything. Bet she leaves neg feedback :(
How much effort does it take to send an email?

Erm im not sure how you do that.. im sure its automatically closed on receipt of payment.
