They are being pretty horrible about steps in general yes.

I've just read it. Doesn't seem that bad to be honest. It's adults expressing their feelings about their own step parents...sorry but thought this was a website with forums for people to air thier views and rant every now and then. There are certainly lots of step mothers on here who rant about step kids etc so why can't the step kids rant. Bit hypocritical and over sensitive to be so uptight about it. If you read some of their posts you might learn something from seeing things from the kids point of view.
I'm sure I'll get ranted at for that comment
