Thorpe Park at 13?

Hi, am thinking about letting my 13 yr old DS and 2 mates go to Thorpe Park on Wed. They are great boys, and have been with school before. Am I mad , or will they be fine?

bad bad idea . think about it . A friend let her two go and the security guards were horrified at that she let her kids go at that age . Be strong and say no .

I don't see what is so horrifying about three sensible teenagers going to a theme park by themselves. Why is it such a bad idea?

Fine if you think its ok let your kid go I certainly wouldnt let mine .

I can't see a problem if they are sensible kids.

I have let my dd go but we've been to Thorpe Park lost of times and I live very very locally.

At 13?
Yes, if they're sensible!
What are the risks?

I think they'd be fine, escpecially if they've been before on a school trip. Whenever we went to such places on a school trip at age 13+ we weren't escorted round all day, you're just let loose in small groups.

If you/another parent can be on call and they have mobiles, then you can always go and collect them if they need help?

Let them have fun
