Best spectator jacket

My lovely boys do many activities during the week which requires me to watch from the sidelines. Football, rugby and running clubs. We also walk to school every day and I walk our dog at least once a day.
As we will start getting into the colder months I’m looking for recommendations for the best jacket that will keep me warm and dry! I’ve looked at dry robes but are they worth the money?
Open to all suggestions and recommendations, I don’t mind spending a bit more money on something that is going to last forever either
Thank you!

I always swore by my North Face parka. Not the most stylish but definitely very warm and waterproof and it’s lasted me years.
Didriksons get good reviews too and my sister rates hers.

The alternative is to get a more stylish waterproof coat and wear a heated (electric) gilet under it for extra warmth.

Sorry, no suggestions on specific items, but having spent about 15 years standing on rugby touchlines I would say buy something that is properly waterproof, not showerproof and gives you room to put layers underneath. I can also recommend wearing ski trousers and having waterproof walking boots.

I have a Regatta 'dry-robe-esque' coat that's great for dog walks and football-mum duties. Of course, many other companies do their own version of that kind of coat, not just Regatta.

It ticks the boxes for me with being waterproof, long, warm and a fraction of the price that a real Dry Robe would be.
