F1 2025 - Watchalong Thread

Happy New Year.

We start with the first all teams season launch on 18 February. Ferrari reveal their 2025 car the day after.

Pre season testing will take place on 26 to 28 February in Bahrain. Australia will host the opening race on Sunday March 16th.

Am watching the Ferrari launch and my mind literally cannot comprehend what exactly I am seeing. The light show seems to be beyond reality. Amazing.

Lewis is definitely iconic in Red. The support for him is amazing.

Lewis is red is just absolutely iconic already. I cannot wait for the season. I hope it works for him and the change can restore his passion.

Interesting, I did wonder if Lando would get similar reaction to Lewis. Lewis definitely got the biggest reaction.

Ferrari stole the show

It was lovely to see all the championship winning McLarens. Hopefully, Lando will add another.

I think Lando vs Oscar could be an interesting battle this year. Oscar is very underrated I think.

I've been watching bits of it online (don't have skyf1). Crowd seemed to be there for Hamilton. I'm delighted Horner was booed and that he seemed shocked by it

Did anyone else think that when Fittipaldi and Senna's Mclaren's were shown that the car would be going back to Red & White?

The red and white was Marlboro sponsored so unlikely. They were originally white with a green stripe. Went orange papaya in 1968, but like most teams, they have had many liveries depending on sponsors

Only just watched this. Loved that Lewis got such a good reception and (horrible of me I know) that Horner got booed which obviously annoyed him.

The Red Bull drivers were the only drivers not to speak. Was that because Verstappen did not want to or because the booing was likely to drown him out?

I believe each team was given 10 minutes and they got to decide how to fill it. Obviously RB decided not to talk to the drivers.

I think Ferrari’s idea of asking the drivers & Fred for one word was very clever.
