Hi I've been incredibly lucky to get Centre Court tickets for the 2nd week of Wimbledon, I've never been before and not likely to again, has anyone got any helpful advice for the day? I want to make the most of what should be a fabulous day 🎾🍓🍾
Thank you.

@StampOnTheGround we had an amazing day, thank you, didn't get back till late last night so very zzz's 😀so here's how our day went.

Ok had full breakfast at premier Inn to set us up for the day then went to a local ASDA and bought sandwiches, water and two bottles of wine and a big bag of ice to keep everything cool and use for drinks 😝
Got the train from Sutton around 9am, this took 17 minutes to get to Wimbledon station, when we arrived at Wimbledon station we walked outside and started walking the right and immediately saw the line up of shuttle buses going to Wimbledon (think it was no 840) anyway that cost just less that £8 for me and DH for single trip, this took around 10 minutes to get to the ground and we were dropped off at gate 11 , there wasn't a huge queue so we decided to stay in that one. Went through security smoothly they had a quick look in our bags but it wasn't a bit deal and they were so polite about it.

So we got in for 10 and spent a good while just walking around, it's absolutely beautiful, the grounds are immaculate and the staff are so helpful, we had a walk round the outside courts but no one was on and it was warming up so we went and sat on Henman hill, I'd advise taking some sort of camping rug or something to sit on, the ground wasn't muddy but a bit rough from everyone coming and going, we sat there for a good hour, shared a sandwich and went to open the bottle of Rosé only to realise it had a bloody cork in it!!! Luckily a lovely lady sat nearby let us use her corkscrew.
We made our way to centre court for 1pm and pretty much stayed there then apart from nipping out a couple of times for loo breaks and a Pimm's and strawberries and cream 😍that was definitely worth getting.

We were so lucky to see 4 matches on Monday especially Djokovic and Alcaraz , we were sat quite far back in block 501 but honestly we still had a fabulous view and it wouldn't put me off sitting there again, I think you must get a fabulous view wherever you're sat.

So when the final match ended at just gone 9pm we made our way back to gate 11 and there was a steady stream of the shuttle bus, we had to wait in a queue for maybe 15 mins but it was fine.

Overall we had an absolutely fantastic time and definitely going in the ballot again this year, even if you're not a tennis fan you'd still have the best day.

Thank you so much for everyone's advice, recommendation and fabulous stories and their time at Wimbledon 💜💚
