When you look at the table there is a line under 4th, 6th and 7th place.
Can anyone explain what they are for?

1st 4 places are Champions League, the next ones are for Europa League. Just separating.

Teams above first line qualify for Cahmpions League. Second line Europa League and above bottom line for Europa Conference.

Line under 4th place: The line under 4th place represents the final position that qualifies for the UEFA Champions League. The top four teams in the Premier League at the end of the season earn a spot in this prestigious European club competition.

Line under 6th place: The line under 6th place signifies the position that qualifies for the UEFA Europa League. The team finishing in 6th place in the Premier League qualifies for this secondary European club competition threes.

Line under 7th place: The line under 7th place has significance as well. It represents the position that potentially qualifies for the UEFA Europa Conference League, a newly introduced European club competition starting from the 2021-2022 season. If the winner of the League Cup or the FA Cup finishes within the top six positions in the Premier League, then the team finishing in 7th place would earn a spot in the UEFA Europa Conference League.

Those lines on the Premier League table actually indicate the cutoff points for certain positions that have significance in terms of European qualification. Typically, the top four teams qualify for the UEFA Champions League, while the teams finishing in fifth and sixth place earn spots in the UEFA Europa League. The line under seventh place may represent the potential for European qualification depending on other factors like domestic cup winners and fair play standings. It's all part of the excitement and anticipation as the season progresses! And hey, if you're curious about how the table might change, you can always check out the latest Premier League matches to see the drama unfold.
