After all the virtue signalling we have had from our (England) football team with so much self-righteous knee-taking, Mr Southgate appears blinded by the fact that thousands of lives have been lost building the stadiums under virtual slave labour conditions. I also noted that England’s first fixture is against Iran where at least 200 women have been killed by security police for protesting for women’s rights. I wonder if this bothers our millionaires? Or do they just kneel and take the money? Just for the record, no-one in our family will be watching this money mad debacle.
