Has anyone bought a woman's electric bike from Decathlon?
If so, your thoughts please.
Thank you

I've no personal experience but Decathalon do have a reputation of punching above their weight with their own brand conventional bikes. They fairly frequently feature as "best budget buy" when cycling magazines do lists of "best ofs". In fact I was reading an article on best women's road bikes of the year this afternoon and it included a Decathalon own brand bike.
Assuming the Ebikes are similar quality you could do a lot worse. They won't be anything fancy but they will be decently designed and built and generally Decathalon represents better value for money than most other budget brands. I'd definitely expect better quality from Decathalon than say Halfords.
The biggest downside of budget ebikes is weight, so look carefully at that. Unfortunately you probably need to spend at least £3kish to buy a light(ish) Ebike, but you will find quite a bit of variation at all price points so do look carefully. There are some real whoppers out there that aren't far off 30kg and I sometimes wonder if a lightweight normal bike might actually be easier to ride than those as a substantial amount of the assistance must be needed just to compensate for the weight.
Also, make sure you are buying a bike that fits your riding needs eg if you are doing fairly short rides but with steep hills then I'd sacrifice battery range for a lighter bike and a motor with more torque, but if you will be doing long but flatter rides go for the longest range even if that means less torque.
Sorry I've not really answered your question, but in short I'd expect Decathalon to produce a decent, fairly basic ebike that will be a better buy than say Halfords but not as good quality as one of the higher end bike manufacturers, but it really depends on what kind of riding you'll be doing.

Did you buy one in the end? I'm looking at buying a hybrid electric bike.
