Just seeing that the Australian cricketer, Shane Warne has passed away at the age of 52.

So young. Rest in Peace, Shane.

Really shocking, only 52 and I can’t believe he was in that bad shape. Very sad for his family, particularly his kids.

Rest in peace. I always remember him on They Think it's all over, he appeared so lovely.

I wonder if he was aware of any heart condition (a heart attack was mentioned in the news article online). 52 is no age!

I'm sorry @Libertybear80. I was typing this up as it was being broadcast as "Breaking News" on the BBC news channel. Perhaps someone else had a similar idea to post the same thing. I didn't realise there was a limit to the number of threads about a topic. I didn't see anything posted in the "Sport" topic either or I wouldn't have duplicated the thread.

He was one of the best spin bowlers to ever bowl.

I was really shocked. I lived in NZ as a teen & he was a complete lust after. I can't believe it. His poor family, 52. Jesus wept.

I do wonder if heart attack will turn out to be code for something else, he always seemed to be quite the party person.
