Just after hearing on the 6 O'Clock news that Abramovich has decided to sell Chelsea FC.

Any thoughts?

I don’t really follow football.
It sounds like he’s doing it for the good of the club rather than himself as he’s setting up a charitable trust for the proceeds.

When I first heard I thought “yeah I bet your getting your money out whilst you can”. I don’t think it’s that now, plus his daughters been quite vocal about this being Putins war not russias.

True and with a whopping 2 sofas he may be in luck

He seems a decent guy to do this, having owned it for so long and clearly loving the club. I don't know who can afford to buy it though!

Not sure how decent he is. He's going to make a couple of billion profit.

And he's one of Putin's agents and bankers, so, no, not really that decent, however much he loves his plaything football team...
