How to get Arsenal tickets?

Hi
My teenage son is an Arsenal fan and after a crappy year I’d like to get him tickets to go see them (he’s never been as we live in Scotland). Timing is tricky due to exams but we thought a home match so he can visit the stadium.

How can we get tickets? It would be February/March/April. Maybe the Liverpool match. Should I sign him up to the youth membership to get priority or go through an agency?

Thanks! 🙏

You can't get them. Unless you're a season ticket holder or a long term member.

But! You can buy him a tour of the stadium. You could see if you could get tickets for an away match?

Maybe a hospitality package? There must be a way 😁

As Clymene says, you have to be a member. I'm a season ticket holder and some games do go on general sale if all tickets don't sell out to members. You have to keep an eye on the website,

SingleHandSue · 11/12/2021 18:53

You need to find a local supporters club. They’ll often arrange coach trips down and will sell the use of tickets that season ticket holders can’t use, or get hold of tickets easily.

See if there’s one local to you or somewhere you can get to.

DH and DS2 get to Old Trafford often this way. I’m sure you can get to the Emirates the same way.

Where do you live, I’ll have a look for you if you like.

There used to be a supporter club in Edinburgh as I went to watch one of the games with them in a pub when I was in Edinburgh years ago.

Well you can do that. Do you have a grand spare? Grin

I’ve join as a member of the club OH supports every year for the last three years and still haven’t succeeded in getting any tickets for any match. I stupidly thought being a member would help but I actually just sit in an online queue for hours each time tickets are released, until it says there are no tickets left. Apparently people who have been to matches are seen as better fans and have more chance of getting the tickets but I can’t see how you can actually get to that stage. It’s infuriating! The only time I’ve got close was when we happened to actually be in the team’s home town and the manager of the hotel called some contacts, but even then the tickets were hundreds of pounds and it would have been silly. Hospitality packages are an option if you are happy spending that amount.

Oh awesome, thanks! I’ll check out the supporters club. Just wanted to surprise him with a treat. 💕

If you know the right people tickets are easy to get, don’t think it’s impossible or that you need to spend a fortune. Take time finding the right people.

thegoose66 · 11/12/2021 19:01

Hi we live overseas and wanted to do the same for our lads on a recent trip. We found a Facebook group for Arsenal tickets. Posted our request. Had a few messages back. Went with a poster who was well known in the group.....you can ask other members for feedback. The tickets are from season ticket holders who are unable to attend that particular match. Tickets were sent by courier the week of the match and we met someone at half time to return them. We also did a tour of the stadium on another trip which was great.

SnoopDogisamenace · 11/12/2021 19:03

Nightmare to get! We got ticket for DS few years ago because of a friend who knew a man, who knew a man, who knew a man!

That’s very cryptic. Any tips? How do I meet the right people? Thanks!

@thegoose66 if you could possibly DM me the name of that group that would be amazing. Thanks!

The stadium tour is brilliant

SingleHandSue · 11/12/2021 19:12

Supporters clubs, anyone who arranges coach trips to London. Try Facebook to find the crazy Arsenal fans who know the season ticket holders local to you.

Do you have friends or relatives in England who have a bigger supporters club nearby?

thegoose66 · 11/12/2021 19:16

@doorornottodoor just search Arsenal tickets (in groups). There are a few. We went with the one with about 13k members and most posts per day. Good luck it's definitely doable. We got 4 tickets together. Great seats and decent price.

TopTabby · 11/12/2021 19:17

Not sure if this is helpful but they're playing Nottingham Forest in Nottingham on Jan 8th & it might be easier to get tickets. No good if he wants the whole Emirates experience though!

SingleHandSue · 11/12/2021 19:18

Looks like you have to be a member of the supporters club but worth joining for the chance to get tickets

DialSquare · 11/12/2021 19:43

Looks like the Man City game on 1st Jan will go on general sale on Tuesday. Its difficult to get to the game on New Year's Day which I imagine will also apply to your situation. But if you can get down, will be a good game to go to.

Thanks all! I think we’ll join the supporters club here in Scotland and keep an eye out on Facebook for tickets too. 🙏

Handholdtoday · 12/12/2021 06:48

@doorornottodoor My sons 1:1 football coach gets them sometimes and sells them on to the parents as he is an ex Arsenal coach. I'll watch this thread and next time they come up I'll let you know x ⚽️
