Best size Micro Scooter for 10 year old?

Micro Scooter advice please! My son wants a 2-wheeled scooter for his 10th birthday. Would it be better to get him one of the range that's designed for 10+ or are they very big and he won't immediately get enjoyment from it, in which case perhaps he'd be better off with the ones that are suitable for 5-12 years old?

I'd say he's average height for his age and very light (skinny) so he doesn't need something that's heavy duty. I don't know how seriously to take the 12 year old upper age limit on the smaller one... Thanks for any tips!

I bought a stunt micro scooter for my eldest child last Christmas. The 10 + are actually smaller than the normal ones as the height cannot be adjusted - my child hated it as the handle bar was very low (they’re smaller for stunts) and still uses the original classic 2 wheeled micro-scooter which they’ve had for years but where the height can be adjusted.

The 10+ one I was looking at wasn't the stunt scooter and does have adjustable height (this one: www.micro-scooters.co.uk/browse-speed-scooters) but it's good to know that the original classic 2 wheel can still be used by an older child.

DS3 aged 9 has the adult classic one. At the time the 10+ was OOS and he really wanted one with large wheels as it's a bumpy, stony ride to school.

@ZucchiniPie the speed scooters look good & I’m sure your son will love one of those. I think all the adjustable height ones are good as my eldest can still do stunts on it and feels comfortable scooting it to school too.

Honestly let him Google scooters and show you what he would like, no 10 year old round here would be seen dead with the Speed Scooter. Its proper stunt scooters or nothing.

Well actually he started off asking for a 3-wheel one and it was me who said that a 2-wheel one would be nippier. So I don't think he even knows about stunt scooters!
