Thanks for starting this thread!

How to watch

Channel 4 is the place to tune into for comprehensive coverage of 2021's Paralympics without paying a penny, and it's really going all-out.

As well as hosting more than 300 hours of round the clock coverage on Channel 4, More 4 will be showing all things team sports, and if you're not in front of a TV you can live stream all of it via the All4 streaming service.

But even better - the dedicated Channel 4 Paralympics microsite will be showing up to 16 live streams at a time, amounting to more than 1,000 hours of action.

That sounds better coverage than the Olympics!

DuncinToffee · 24/08/2021 19:00

And we are off with the medals.

Amazing performance from Sarah Storey for gold and Silver for Crystal Lane-wright

Sirzy · 25/08/2021 07:07

And silver for Steve Bate and his pilot Adam Duggleby

cricketmum84 · 25/08/2021 08:15

Massively looking forward to this!! And such a great start already.

I'm newly disabled and been in a wheelchair since January. I have some pretty down days getting stressed about all the things I can't do.

This next two weeks is going to give me lots and lots of hope!! I'm already blown away by the wheelchair basketball.

Ekofisk · 25/08/2021 09:29

Yay! Bronze for Toni Shaw in the 400 Free with a massive PB.

DuncinToffee · 25/08/2021 10:16

We had tickets for 2012 and watched athletics, goalball, football and the men basketball final.

I will have to catch up with the cycling later, I am switching between the swimmming and rugby at the moment

DuncinToffee · 25/08/2021 10:18

Did anyone watch Jonnie Peacocks Blade Camp?

DuncinToffee · 25/08/2021 10:28

You can see why the wheelchair rugby was called murder ball Grin

Yes it was amazing, we will no doubt see some of those youngsters at future games

Was there a really successful British Paralympic swimmer before Ellie Simmonds? I feel like I can remember one, but can’t recall her name. Google isn’t helping. It might just be that Ellie has been around so long that’s it her I’m thinking of!

cricketmum84 · 26/08/2021 08:46

Jaco Van Gass just brought me to tears with that piece for C4. He is such an inspiring person!

Sarah Storey was a very successful swimmer before switching to cycling.

Mike Kenny?

He won 16 gold medals and two silvers over four Paralympics, (Toronto 1976, Arnhem 1980, Stoke Mandevilk 1984, Seoul 1988)

DuncinToffee · 26/08/2021 15:00

Just catching up with events. I didn't realise that wheelchair rugby was a mixed sport. Only 1 woman in the GB squad, Kylie Grimes, not sure about the othere countries.

Another good day for Team GB
