Yes it was! It really felt like someone had broken the mirror in the changing room for a while but third time lucky for Richarlison and what a goal from Gray.

What is happening with Mourinho?

OP posts:
WhiteHartLane · 07/12/2021 09:06

That 2nd offside was sooo tight. Got his goal in the end though. Arsenal's time wasting was funny.

Mourinho is on a bad run at Roma, currently 5th and losing more than winning - he's reverted to type and starting digging out individual players. There was a rumour he would take the Everton job should the position arise Hmm

DuncinToffee · 07/12/2021 09:22

Ah thanks, I don't really follow European leagues apart from the Dutch. Not surprising really.

As for the Everton job, can't see him taking on a project like us Xmas Grin

Worrying for Spurs, 13 tested positive for Covid, 8 players.
Speedy recovery.

OP posts:
burblish · 08/12/2021 23:59

Lots of Leicester players apparently down with COVID, too - hope all recover quickly (Spurs, too) with no lasting ill effects.

DuncinToffee · 09/12/2021 17:59

7 Leicester players and 3 backroom staff is reported.
Not looking good for the Xmas period.

OP posts:
Oblomov21 · 09/12/2021 18:01

Saw about Covid 8 Spurs players.

DuncinToffee · 09/12/2021 18:30

Their match against Brighton this weekend has been postponed

OP posts:
WhiteHartLane · 11/12/2021 11:22

UEFA have also decided it will be too difficult to re-schedule Spurs match against Renne so Vitesse will take the 2nd place and Spurs go out. I'm not overly disappointed with that decision, they didn't pull up any trees whilst in it and hopefully they can go on a good cup run instead.
Hoping for a speedy recovery to all staff/players with COVID and fingers crossed they are back on the pitch soon.

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 13/12/2021 18:06

That draw...woopsie!! Still Chelsea still have Lille..and twice drawn. Didnt expect that

burblish · 14/12/2021 09:23

@LetsGoFlyAKiteee - I was cackling away at all the sarky tweets about does this mean Lewis Hamilton will win the Champions League? Grin

I wonder how many fixtures will need to be postponed over Dec-Jan due to COVID outbreaks - hope all players and staff at all clubs put their health first.

WhiteHartLane · 14/12/2021 09:24

I heard there was a mix up with the draw Grin - still nice tie for Chelsea.

Tottenham maybe allowed to play against Renne later than the 31st Dec I've heard. They were in the draw yesterday and a decision is expected later this week.

Tonights Brentford / Man Utd game has been postponed.

DuncinToffee · 16/12/2021 22:10

Wow, I did not expect that result. The kids are alright ⚽️

4 matches postponed this weekend.

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 16/12/2021 22:11

Aren't we nice to you lot lol...think our time in the title race is done. Just can't score!

Wonder if games will go ahead this weekend. Already a few off..

DuncinToffee · 16/12/2021 22:16

Yes, thanks Chelsea and Pickford Grin

Gillingham v Crewe has been called off too due to cases in the Gills camp. I had tickets for that game so my littlest is a bit disappointed but he's old enough to understand why.

Hoping everyone affected makes a swift recovery.

DuncinToffee · 17/12/2021 09:34

EFL confirmed yesterday that 25 per cent of footballers across its three divisions are refusing to get jabbed. That is quite shocking.

'While the Premier League has not released any vaccination figures for its players since October, the number of anti-vaxxers in the top flight is thought to be similar and is being identified as a key reason why the Omicron variant is causing so much disruption.'

We are mid watching Spurs v Liverpool. 1/2 time. It's exhausting. Best football, most exciting match I've seen for ages.

DuncinToffee · 24/12/2021 12:48

Merry Christmas everyone Xmas Smile🎄⚽️

OP posts:
WhiteHartLane · 26/12/2021 17:18

Hope everyone's enjoying their Christmas/Boxing Day.

High-scoring matches today Xmas Smile

AndNobbyDancing · 26/12/2021 17:34

Bloody loved the games today, what more can you ask for when encouraging younger family members to watch than High scoring matches. Exciting.
Personally delighted about Soton, sad about Norwich (hardly surprising) and Leicester, so so about spurs.

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 26/12/2021 19:46

Another game off Tuesday.

Happy with the win..still dodgy and relying on penalties but wins a win...how Mount missed who knows...
