DD is turning 5 in a few weeks and REALLY wants a skateboard. I think she was some cartoons using a skateboard and now anything with wheels is a skateboard. She actually saw a skateboard the other day in JL, tried, fell, and still wants one 
Anyway. Do you know if I should pick a certain size depending on her height? Plastic is ok? Or the traditional wood/black thing is better? What's best to start and have some fun?
Also, do you suggest any particular YouTube videos?
