Scuttlebug vs mini micro scooter

My DD turns 1 soon and want to buy her either a scuttle bug or mini micro for her birthday. I know the mini micro is more but feels like it would last longer but not sure how good it is for little ones compared to the scuttle bug.

Also any other birthday gift suggestions from friends and family is really appreciated. She's my first baby so still learning!

Ours never got into micro scooters but loved didi cars, we got a generic one for about £25 on Amazon which is still going round or kitchen fairly frequently a couple of years later, and then balance bikes from just Gone 2 which meant they learned to cycle really fast a year later. Sorry to widen not narrow your search!

I’d say depends how tall your child is. Ours are tall and the scuttlebug was soon very low for them. Micro scooter will last but they are unlikely to be able to do it for a while, more like 18mo.

For a first birthday I'd go for a Scuttlebug. You could do scooter for Christmas perhaps? That timing would probably be perfect. We gave our DD a scooter for her second birthday.

I don't think a one year old would use a scooter unless you get it with the seat attachment so they can sit on it?
