Pro-viz running top - hand wash only?

I’ve treated myself to a new pro-viz running jacket... it’s brighter than the sun!
However, the washing instructions say hand wash only. It gets so sweaty that just doesn’t seem enough. Any other pro-viz owners and what do you do?

I washed dd's cycling jacket on a gentle cycle. However I wouldn't recommend doing what dh did and put it in the tumble dryer. I was not a happy bunny!

And I have to do mine often, it smells really quickly
