Bike pumps

I’ve just got my bike back after it sat in a shed for donkeys years. Prob is, the tyres are flat. I have to admit to having weak lady arms and I can’t pump the tyres up. Does anyone know of any electronic bike pumps that could do the job for me? I don’t have a car so can’t drive it to the bike shop.

I think there is a really big chance that I’m trying to do it wrong. When I attach the pump, either the air goes in then comes out as I detach the pump or it refuses to go in at all. Much as I love the idea of giving my neighbours the chance to watch and laugh as I struggle, I am a really private person and would sooner walk than be a source of entertainment.

I shall google to see if there is a mobile bike person, though. Thank you for that suggestion.

If it's been in a shed for donkey's years the inner tubes or the valves might be toast.

Or they might be fine. Is the valve fat like a car tyre ("schrader"), or skinny with a little nut on a thread you can undo ("presta")? They take two different adapters (obviously!) and if it's the skinny one you have to undo the nut, blow it up, then do the nut up.

Bike pumps are very cheap. Can you but a new one online? Truflow for example. Also it might not be on the valve properly. You should take the pump off quickly to avoid losing air.
