We have a splash babies course booked for my 3 month old. Just after advice on what I need to take /the logistics of getting us both ready before and after.

Thanks

Get both yourself and your baby ready at home and pop an outfit on over the top! Much eaaier to whip of one layer and into the pool! Try and get your baby used to water in the bath, splash around a bit!

When getting changed afterwards line pram/car seat with a plastic bag for life and thick towel, then put wet baby in it, wrap them up tight in the towel and then get yourself changed quickly-tracksuit, flip flops etc and forgo shower until home, certainly don’t be even thinking about your hair/make up etc. Then once you’re ready you can get baby dressed without dripping all over them, and then you can feed them straight away once they are dressed and hopefully they’ll do a nice long nap. Have fun! Also recommend the Konfidence babywarma or similar to keep them warm in pool. Don’t bother with sunsuit/rash vests or similar-they don’t actually do anything to keep them warm.

Seek out the play pen ! Saying that a car seat is probably better for 3 month old

Get them ready then strap them in (use the straps otherwise you'll forget and baby may fall out ... my friend did that after swimming and her little boy almost flew out of the car seat when she dashed out in a hurry forgetting to strap him in ... he was fine

The issue with getting baby ready at home is an aqua nappy does not absorb. Definitely get yourself set at home though and yes to quickly getting ready yourself once you get out.
