Anyone else had too much football?

Ok so my house has now been completely taken over by football- it all began with the Match attax cards, then panini tried to infiltrate (but i'd learnt my lesson). Anyway, I think it's actually sent me a bit mad, so much so I wrote a song, and posted it to YouTube! Shock (BTW this is not me at all, I've never written a song in my life or not really sung in public) Thought i'd give over Mum's and Dad's out there a laugh.

( It's call Mum's football song, catchy eh?!)

I'm a mum, have 4 kids, at the moment all the talk is Wimbledon, World Cup & cricket (including DD) am enjoying every single second.

They are all so engaged, we have wall charts all over the place, tons of conversations about different countries, difference between sports and economic backgrounds of players of different sports, loads of chats about sportsmanship and a lot of cheering and commiserating. Its fantastic.

Can't listen to your song as am babysitting friends baby who is sleeping on my knee.

I’m sorry, did you ask whether one could have too much football?

I don’t understand the question. It’s literally impossible to have too much football.

paddlingwhenIshouldbeworking My kids adore tennis matches too :)

I'm ok with football because it's one of my favourite types of sport. But yeah it can seem that there's too much of it sometimes, especially during the most important matches. If you're not a fan of it, anyway you see/hear something because of great amount of their advertising Smile
But there's nothing strange in this because football is one of the most popular types of sport nowadays and it's a big business too www.sportskeeda.com/football/football-really-big-business . But on the other hand it's truth about all other professional sport.

Like I mentioned above I'm its fan too so I don't feel tired because of all these matches. My husband shares this hobby with me and we often watch the matches together, cheer for our favourite teams (mine are Arsenal from England and Flamengo from Brazil) and sometimes make bets mobile-br.net/ on them. Our kids watch them together with us sometimes too but as I've already mentioned they like tennis much more.
