That poor Liverpool goalkeeper

I'm not really a footie fan but watched the end last night and felt so sorry for the Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius.
His team mates looked like they had abandoned him in his grief at failing to stop those goals.
None of them went to him when the whistle blew. It's supposed to be a team sport where you support each other in good times and bad.
It wasn't very sporting of the team. I know it's professional soccer and you've to win at all costs but they could have made an effort. He was devastated.
At least Gareth Bale went over. I know he was on the winning team and it was easy to do but fair play to him.

Loris is very easy on the eye.
I might watch more soccer. Wink

Everyone has rallied around him today and he had put out a lovely tweet with over 86k likes.

I felt the same op. Poor man. He was part of a team who played badly and he had some very bad luck on the night. Today Liverpool 'fans' have been tweeting him telling him they hope he dies. I feel so sorry for him. Good on Gareth Bale for giving him a bit of support. P.s yes, he's very handsome isn't he Smile

He doesn’t deserve the abuse he’s been getting but those kind of goalkeeping errors at that level are absolutely unbelievable. That first one that led to the Benzema goal, I have never seen anything like it

Actually the team did not play badly! They were beaten by a flukey goal and a mistake and a wondrr goal. It would have been 1-apart from the mistakes unfortunately. It was a terrible blow when Ramos purposefully fouled Salah and he had to go off.

and he had some very bad luck on the night

^If that two errors had happened in cricket everybody would be saying the match was fixed

Load of bollocks anyway, it doesnt even matter that a ball was kicked in the net.Its just for people with absolutely no life.

rudgie why open and then comment on the thread then? Do you do that with every TV thread about programmes you watch or hobbies or diets?
