Swimming party ideas

We have a swimming party at the local leisure centre for 20 - 6 years olds this weekend. We've bought some (25) small pool inflatables but looking for party game ideas or do we just leave them to the chaos.

Similarly we have an hour in the club room after and have a packed lunch session but similarly could do with a 30 mins game filler. Ideas please

Have you factored in time to get dried and dresses?

I gave no idea of pool games but you could do
Pin the goggles on the swimmer (as an alternative to pin the tail on the donkey)

Kids love a good pass the parcel

I will keep thinking.

My DS went to couple of pool parties last year. One of them had games organised by the staff, things like relay races. The problem with that was that lots of kids were just stood around waiting for their tube, and got cold and miserable.

The other party was just free play in the pool with inflatables, and it was much more fun. It helped having a few willing parents in the pool to help out, throw balls, whizz kids around on the inflatables etc.

As the PP said, don't underestimate how long it will take them to get changed afterwards, you may not have time for another game. The parties we went to had stuff planned but it never happened as they ran out of time.

Waiting for their turn, that should have said...
