Instead of shirts and skins what could you use to separate the players but not actually reveal skin?

Dh uses thin yellow sports vests to distinguish between teams at football. Think he gets them from home bargains

We also use a set of coloured vests or bibs. Just one so we have bibs on one team and non bibs on the others. Or sometimes we just swap layers if we happen to have roughly half in one colour. So we would have navy (training too) and colours (no training top).

But ours is a winter sport (rugby) so plenty of layers to swap
