Help Bike Experts I've Done It Again Chain Issues

Hi,

I got some great advice about my chain issues last year (I am clueless about bike maintenance) and hoping someone can help as I am working overseas and have nobody close by who can fix this.

My rear bike wheel isn't turning part of the chain seems to have come away from the rear derailleur. I've looked on You Tube and it seems quite complex involving getting a chain breaker and re-inserting the chain is there an easier way (hopeful)? or an idiot's guide..........

Would you be able to post a photo? There should be an easier way because the chain got there without being taken apart, so it should be able to be put in the right place without being taken apart iyswim! :)

Meanwhile that does make perfect sense thank you. I won't be able to post photos until Monday as a friend has borrowed my camera and the one on my phone is cr@p. I love my bike but when things go wrong I don't have a clue.
