Sports bra help needed!!

So I have taken a deep breath & joined the gym. I got proper trainers and everything, but I need a sports bra.

I have had a MN bra intervention and am a 32F-FF. And I need help from sporty mumsneters as I don't even know where to start.

I went to sports direct, but they don't have any in cup sizes, except the nike ones that only go up to a D cup. All the others are just in sizes S-L.

Please lovely mumsneters point me in the right direction and give me you wise words of how to find a bloody sports bra that fits and keeps me bounce-free! Otherwise I may just give up on the gym altogether Grin

Try lessbounce.com - the clue is in the name.

Scarlet, they look brilliant, they even encourage you to phone up for help & advice! I will definitely be giving them a go, thanks!!

Shock absorber ultimate do larger cup sizes

Someone on here recommended it recently for front- fastening sports bras. They really are great!

They def had a 32f as I tried one on.

Thanks Squirel, are they available just at sports shops? There is a huge sports direct on the shopping park on the way home from work so I might try stopping off there (and also avoid some of the rush hour traffic!).

It's frustrating, the staff seem to either think you should know what you need or can't help - the last shop assistant I asked told me she didn't do any sport so didn't really know but the bras were over there & just pointed!

Debenhams - they do Shock Absorber and proper bra fitting service.

I got a 32E - I think they had larger cups in stock. I needed new normal bras too (MN interventionists strike again!) and the assistant was really helpful with those and the sports bra. She said that quite often people need a different size in sports bras to normal bras but as it happened I was the same for both.

I'm a 30ff, and have been pleasantly surprised with the performance of my Tescos sports bras - I wear a 32F. I do have an assortment of sports bras which cost lots more, and which are better over long runs, but the Tescos is great for £6

I have the Panache 80% less bounce sports bra, and it's quite magnificent. Keeps my 30GG boobies in check, and if you do up the hook on the back (which makes it a racer back bra) then NOTHING moves.....
