I'm ready on the sofa, with the dog, for my second sporting event of the day - and I will be rooting for Cambridge nothing to do with dsis' smuggery about attending Oxford.

Oh, is it today? Fell off my radar, I used to go down and watch. Hope Cambridge win!

TheFutureSupremeRulersMum · 06/04/2014 16:39

Another one supporting Cambridge here.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 06/04/2014 16:39

It's a late start - 5.50, I think - but don't take my word for that, if you do want to watch.

Ooh, hasn't it happened yet? Seems like a late start.

I am of course supporting Oxford, as an Oxford graduate even though I never set foot in a boat throughout my time there

TheWave · 06/04/2014 17:52

I'm watching. Coxes quite young. They must be nervous!

yegodsandlittlefishes · 06/04/2014 17:56

Don't know about that, thewave dd was coxing an 8 on the Thames last week...she was 14 the first time she did that. :D

TheWave · 06/04/2014 17:58

Most of the rowers are postgrads so a lot older it seems.

yegodsandlittlefishes · 06/04/2014 17:58

Come on, Cambridge!

BiscuitCrumb · 06/04/2014 17:58

How come it's on so late?

MrsSippie · 06/04/2014 17:59

Go Cambridge!

DramaAlpaca · 06/04/2014 17:59

Shove over that dog & make room for me on the sofa SDTG!

I'm sat here on mine next to DS2. I'm recording the Boat Race so will come back to it in a bit. DH is watching Heineken Cup rugby, so I'll catch up with the Boat Race after the match.

Oxford for me as it's the one I wanted to go to but wasn't quite smart enough so I didn't actually apply

TheWave · 06/04/2014 18:00

It's close so far.

Chopchopbusybusy · 06/04/2014 18:01

It's timed to suit American TV. The whole thing is disappointingly American.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 06/04/2014 18:01

There's space on the sofa, and it have Wine Drama!

It is looking close so far.

You never know. Oxford might sink. It's happened before.
