Anyone else had bizarre email?

DH had an email today, advising us what to do on Sunday when we go to watch the 7 a side football, suggesting we stay in the park for the Closing ceremony and take our seats early.

That would be lovely, if we actually had any tickets for either of the above events! Sadly, we will be in our seats in our sitting room several hundred miles away.

The website has crashed, so I am guessing lots of people have got these messages and are doing what we did, frantically checking the confirmed tickets section in case it is all true....

Yes, I had the same thing and also checked the confirmed bit on the website and saw it had crashed! Then not one, but two emails arrived saying it was all a mix up. You can imagine the panic when they rrealised they'd sent the email to the whole database rather than to those few who have tickets for both the football and the closing ceremony!

I was just coming on to start the same thread. Yes, the confirmed tickets page has been unavailable for hours. I was hoping dp had got the tickets and had kept it a secret!

Now had the apology email.
