Huge purple spot pubic area

I have a huge under the skin spot / boil? That has come
up quite quickly and is so incredibly painful. It hurts to walk and is too sore to touch. It’s sort of purple in the centre and the skin a good few cm round it is red. It has no head, nothing to squeeze. Really hurts. Any ideas!?

Leave it alone. I had something like this years ago poked around with it and now have a bald patch!

Have a warm bath and see if a head starts to form.

Bartholin cyst maybe?

Bathrolin’s cysts are usually located towards the lower area of the vulva (around 4&8 o’clock if you imagine the vulval area as an elongated clock). When the OP says pubic area, to me that is more in the triangular area over the mons pubis.

Apply a hot flannel to the area, several times a day.
