Hard to tell. Is it smelling?? Maybe let the air get to it??

Try and let it air without a plaster??? Could be its getting too wet and sweating?? My mum used to soak her feet in hot water and a couple of drops of lavender oil when she had hers done x

Day 10 ?! Get that bandage off . Soak if necessary in Epsom salt or just plain salt . Dry thoroughly and keep uncovered . Apply a cloth plaster on before putting on socks tomorrow if it's likely to rub on shoe .

I think what you've got, OP, is inflammation, which is different to infection.
You'll get inflammation after any invasive procedure, and you can get inflammation and infection together. However, I don't think that looks infected...you can get a mucky wound area, without infection. I would soak for 10 mins twice daily in salty warm water, then let the air get to it.
That's not to say it definitely won't ever get infected, but what I can see now, is inflammation, rather than infection.
Look out for increased throbbing, diffuse redness which is spreading...any green ( not nec yellow or creamy ooze, that, again is just the body's natural way of defending against potential infection. Soaking, elevation and air!
All the best, OP.

Thanks all I feel better. I have been soaking in salt water.
As long as it isn't infected I can put up with it.
I have it covered being at work and on my feet.
Less painful when it is covered.
