Why are my feet all peeling . Horrible pic included!

Both feet are all of a sudden peeling like this. Have put fungal cream incase it was that to no avail and Vaseline too

Weirdly specific question, but you haven't spent a long time with wet feet? I only ask as I did a long walk in torrential rain once, and whilst it wasn't quite that extensive, I had patches which looked like that... I think some areas just got sort of lifted off whilst softened due to the wetness and then peeled off, it didn't hurt, spread or persist!

Any itching? My hands and feet do this intermittently. I’m using fungal cream on one foot which is also itchy. I just get patches similar to yours, then it clears up. Most annoying.

Are the woolly socks synthetic? If my partner wears synthetic socks his feet peel. With him it is fungal. He dilutes hibiscrub (I think it is now called hibiwash) and wipes his feet with it at night and air dries (and no socks in bed)

This might sound obvious but have you used a foot pack recently? DD and I did one and didn't read it fully - it was a peeling one, as in it was full of acids to take the top layer of skin off. I had assumed mistakenly it was a peel off face mask type one...we both had attractive peeling of feet for a week of the summer as a result.

Oh this is weird, I had one strange blob of loose skin on one foot last week, didn’t notice it until I went to put my socks on and thought wtf is this all about?! I peeled it off and that was the end of it, no further peeling - was on the inside of the flat part of the back part of my foot (inner heel sort of area?!) - yours looks totally different though and until you said you hadn’t I presumed you’d used one of those peeling foot masks.

It's definitely a fungal infection, sorry to say. You need some anti-fungal cream from the chemist.
