Cyst/boil on labia- don’t worry no pictures!

It’s a hard lump that is painful to touch. It’s in my labia minors, but at the top of my vulva, near my clitoris.

My concern is that googling cysts in this area it says they are usually around vaginal entrance.

Is it just hot compress for a few days? Any other tips for getting rid? Or should I see GP?

GP, I've had them before. They were actually batholins cysts, but i could never get to Dr's when they were in full flush. But yes hot baths and compresses. (Don't try to pop it, believe me it hurts like a fucker.)

I just wondered as it is quite far from the bartholins gland, so wasn’t sure. It’s bloody painful!

I’ve had the same in that area and went to the GP. Can’t remember what they said exactly but I remember doing a sitz bath and a hot compress 3 times a day for about a week and it went. It came back again a few months later but a bit smaller, did same again and had no issues since. I also took paracetamol for the pain as it would wake me up at night.

I had 2 of these. Didn't know they had a name. Both came to a head and both were squeezed. Painful - but so o o satisfying.

I had one in that area. It was the size of a pea when I was going to go to a GP. Then it came to a head after a hot shower and I was able to pop it. Sore but such a relief! Never came back.

Similar- just gently squeezed after bath. None since.

I get these fairly regularly and am
now surgeon like with my popping skills. Hot compress the night before and sterile needle in the morning. Instant relief. You'll know when you hit the right place as you have lovely yellow pus followed by bright red blood.
