Smooth red Lump on thigh, Anyone know what this is?

Feels smooth and hurts to touch, feels hard almost like a blister. Doesn't itch or burn but is very uncomfortable. Not sure If I should go Doctors. Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Where on the thigh? Inner area? Boil? Ingrowing hair maybe? How long have you had it?

Inner under thigh like groin area is best way to describe it, I noticed it 2 days ago.

Do your thighs rub together? If so, this, and hot weather, can predispose you to (basically) zits of various sizes on your inner thighs.

smother it in sudocrem overnight.

I'm a lifeguard so I am sat down in hot weather for a long time so I guess I sweat a decent amount whilst sat down with my thighs together? I thought it was something like that but I cant see any puss or anything like a zit

Oh ok, your pic just loaded/ got through the filters. That looks like a boil. not any kind of regular pimple!

Also, keep an eye on that reddened streak going up/ down from the boil. Basically, seek medical attention tomorrow. Hope it is better soon
