Is this an ingrown hair?

Firstly sorry for the poor quality photo, this is under my arm so difficult to take a photo. I have had this pea sized lump under my arm for about 2 weeks now. Last couple of days it started getting red so I popped some magnesium sulphate paste on and it drew out some pus. The paste hasn't drawn any hair out though.

It does look like it yes. Hot compress and it should come up in a couple of days. I get them and they can be so sore there!
