Huge ?boil on my hip

I have a huge red area on my hip. It came up before, kind of leaked a bit of pus then was getting better. For the past 3 days now it’s been getting worse again. What can I put on it?!

I don't like the look of that. GP tomorrow or 111 tonight if the red area is increasing quickly.

Put some heat on it, preferably with something absorbent between the heat and the boil to soak up the pus that will soak out.

Is it a carbuncle, I had one under my arm once and I had antibiotics and the doctor lanced it, this was in the old days though before phone appointments. You probably need antibiotics
