I'm going to get it checked out but just in case it's something very obvious to Those That Know!!!

It looks different at different times...

Anyone know what this is?

I'd get that checked with your GP ASAP

MineMineMineMineMine · 03/12/2024 02:14

I have an appointment with the nurse practicioner this coming morning.

I have a load of sort of bumps that come up when I get hot so thought it might be one of those but it's more dark.

These don't seem to be milia or maybe they are. I've put a photo up but you'd not see them on my skin at all right now as they appear when I'm hot. (my original photo lump is visible!) I'll show the NP this one too.

I'll feel silly if they're a well known thing. I didn't get spots particularly as a kid so it's all new (probably peri menopausal)

Oops image. These ones disappear completely when not hot. It's weird. But it kind of looks like the original bump.

It kind of looks like a blood blister, not 100% though

MineMineMineMineMine · 03/12/2024 03:14

It's currently a bit more lumpy/less poppable than I think a blood blister would be - but then I've only had them on my feet!!

This is it now. But I get that my phone camera isn't great!

Hi sorry I’ve got something similar did you get referred to a dermatologist?

MineMineMineMineMine · 17/12/2024 21:29

Hello. No the NP wasn't worried at all.,

But I still don't know what it is!!

That’s good though! Thanks so much for letting me know.

MineMineMineMineMine · 18/12/2024 19:56

Hmm so randomly it's been a lump for a while and I was assuming it's becoming a new mole.

I tried to stab it yesterday and it doesn't do anything

Today it randomly just popped and is now completely flat. Clear liquid like a blister. But yesterday it was hard.

I've now scared myself with a Google. I kind of want to show it to another Dr now.

Anyone know what this is?

I get it rechecked. Most benign ones don't change so rapidly.
The "what next" on lesion checks is always come back if it changes (aside from super slow growing moles)

LoafofSellotape · 28/12/2024 14:59

I would get that properly checked by a GP. I saw a prescribing paramedic who insisted my 'spot that wouldn't heal' was definitely not skin cancer and it was only because a nurse walked in the room and said ' Oooh that definitely needs checking' that I got treated.
