Don't know if I should keep trying to pop this??!

Got a big sore spot/boil on my thigh. Today it has got very painful and firm. However it doesn't feel like it's close enough to pop and can't see a head. I worry about trying too hard as last time I had one like this I squeezed so hard it popped but under the skin so I had a tender patch for ages

There's a tiny black speck in the photo I'm not sure if it's a freckle/hair or (optimistically) a bit of a head/opening. Have done flannel a few times I'm going to run a very hot bath and see if that helps!

Hot flannel or magnesium sulphate with a dressing will draw that out. Sometimes just a hot bath will do it.

In Bath currently so fingers crossed. Will try and record after but a) awkward angle and b) I'm not at all convinced anything will come out!!
