What is this lump

Been directed here from the health area
Woke up with this lump
It's pretty raised and red and feels a little firm to touch
No head but I can see a white dot. Nor squeezable at all.
Excuse jelly belly

Looks like a boil.

Bug bite maybe

I can't do anything with it. Tried gently squeezing. It's really purple

Have you had a belt buckle or trousers button rub against your belly?

I would say a bite of some sort.

If it was me I’d put some Savlon on it and keep an eye that the red area doesn’t expand… then hope it forms a head and I can get to pop it

Savlon or similar and a plaster for now and see how it develops.
If you feel unwell or there is redness tracking from it maybe get some medical advice

Has anyone suggested mag sulphate yet? Or hot cloth-ing it? 👀

It’s in an awkward place. We do get boils and lumps and bumps. Often they resolve on their own. Best not to fiddle with it. Use savlon, a hot compress if it gets itchy. Wait for it to either go away or grow a head.

No nothing like that.

That's what I'm doing. Fingers crossed.
