Have a nasty boil type thing on the back of my shoulder. I first noticed it on Wednesday but I’ve been at Glastonbury and haven’t been able to do anything with it! I have managed to scratch the surface off, which isn’t ideal but don’t know what’s best to draw it out as you can’t get mag sulph paste anymore. I have sudocrem or a salicylic acid pore cleaner, fellow sporners what do you think will best draw it out??? Pic in next post and I promise to update!

Mix a paste of soap and sugar then cover with a plaster??? Old style remedy but might work. Or hot flannel and see if it comes to a head

Doesn't look like a boil, tick or infected bite?

It really looked and felt like a boil when I first noticed it last Wednesday, trouble is I couldn’t do anything with it as a temporary measure I’ve dabbed some Sudocrem on it to see if it helps calm it down.

Use biro to mark around the edge of the surrounding red area, so you can check it's not getting any bigger, in case it is infected.
