I set the ear looker inner up, selected video, mr Amazon had delivered the squeezy and pulley outey tools.

4 big worms of sebum.

and no sodding proof. The video didn’t work.

the good news is there’s more.

so we’re going to do some more tomorrow.

Also placemarking for video

How did you convince your DD to let you at them? Ear blackheads are my favourite, kids still too young for them but they are already very wary of any sporny antics from me - think I'm gonna have to bribe them with cold hard cash when they have decent blackheads

I take it that you are not familiar with the common or garden teenager?

My sister was so careful with her skincare when we were young, didnt stop her getting spots and black heads. I never got them, just lucky I guess. One DD struggled with spots and blackheads, the other two didnt, again no difference other than one had a bigger tendency towards greasy skin.

Some people get them, some people dont.

Yes, as a teenager I religiously washed my face and ears. I used every form of OTC medication for spots and I was still covered in pustules and blackheads. Blackheads are caused by the oxidation of the sebum blocked in the pore - it's not actually dirt. Eventually, a dermatologist and some powerful medication meant the pustules left my life for ever. Both my sons had the same dermatologist and got the same medication.

Oh please!!!! 😂how judgmental!

you can wash all you want but some people are just more prone to spots - especially specially teenagers!

FWIW I still get blackheads even though I wash my face thoroughly and have a good skincare routine. I probably have them in my ear (now getting DH to investigate) - lucky me!

My teen DD had a couple but wouldn’t let me near them, until I took a photo and she was sufficiently horrified by their size to let me at them.
