Infected Cyst (with pictures)

I thought you’d all enjoy seeing some close up pictures of my infected sebaceous cyst.
On antibiotics which I started yesterday and waiting for it to be less painful so I can cut the top and squeeze if it doesn’t start to drain itself.
Hurts when I take tops on and off and lie down or sit in certain positions! Very frustrating !!
First photo is today and second is yesterday so it looks like it’s getting angrier !

Nonsense. When they've come to a head like that, there is only one way they will go if pierced and then squeezed, and it's not inwards.

I've got one on my back, about 8" down right on my spine. Can't see it properly, can't reach back to photograph it, hiding it from partner. Doctor said they don't remove them unless they get infected. It's infected. I noticed I was absently scratching it, then contorted round to the mirror and it was really red. Got some yuck tasting antibiotics and it already feel like it's going down, like a deflating balloon, is less solid and feels a bit rough on the surface. NOT going to try to pop it. NO. MUST NOT.

I got MRSA and then sepsis from simular after it was incised and drained at urgent care and had 12 days in hospital.. you shouldn't have popped it.

Definitely going down but if they had just removed it when it arrived I wouldn't be dealing with an infection 🧐
